Camp 54 Celebrating America's 250th Birthday

On May 16, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. Camp 54, in partnership with the Boston Chapter Sons of the American Revolution and the Paul Revere Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution, held a special memorial ceremony honoring the grandsons of the legendary Paul Revere, Colonel Paul Joseph Revere and Dr. Edward Hutchinson Robbins Revere, at Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The ceremony commemorated their ultimate sacrifice during the American Civil War. As members of the 20th Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry, known as the "Harvard Regiment their legacy of bravery and dedication to preserving the Union and ending slavery continues to inspire us today. Dr. Edward H. R. Revere was killed during the Battle of Antietam, and Col Paul Joseph Revere was killed during the Battle of Gettysburg.

Wreaths of Evergreen to symbolize undying love were presented by Camp 54 Commander Ronald Glidden abd Paul Revere Chapter DAR President Kim White-Sawczynec.
